Innovative Empty-Bottle Inspection system for all types and size of bottles

 

Possible inspections include:

  • bottle/container surface density inspection   
  • bottle/container base inspection  
  • bottle/container top/thread inspection
  • bottle/container interior surface inspection
  • caustic soda residual inspection HF/IR 
  • bottle/container side wall inspection

Application range:

  • Full and part inspection of empty one-way and returnable containers as well as flip-top bottles  

Performance range:

  • Up to 2000 c/h effective (depending on container)

Our X PLORER Inspection-system in flexible module-block construction is achieving never seen before efficiencies in Quality control and physical space requirements.

The system is offering, specifically for small and medium manufacturers/producers in the food and beverage industry, all necessary inspection types that can be as well retro-fitted to an existing line for an affordable price. Extreme space saving design is enabling an easy integration of the X-Plorer in existing production-lines. State of the art camera and illumination technology combined with the latest lens systems guarantee all inspection requirements of the highest quality results of foreign object detection.
Based on a stainless steel construction the systems provide ALL advantages of much larger Inspections systems like: automatic height adjustment, fast product change-over without additional change parts, ease of control via Touch-panel, all electronic and camera components of leading brands.
Due to the High-End LED technology, the illumination unit is adjustable to all bottle/container colours and for simplicity of use settings can be pre-stored in the control for selection.

 

Rejection control
Rejected containers will be pushed  on the reject table with overflow control.

 

System Integration
Due to the compact and straight design of the X PLORER it is possible to integrate it into any single-lane conveyor. We will ensure for a smooth mechanical and system control integration to the existing equipment up- and down-stream in the production line.

 

Remote Service
Minimum break-down time through fast and reliable remote service diagnostic via Modem or VPN.
It is possible to perform functionality control checks, Inspection control optimisation as well as integration or set-up of new container/products with the remote service.

 

Control
19” Touch-panel including all relevant product data,­ rejection-analysis, camera-pictures as well as test-bottle program and operator interface. The control-panel can be mounted direct at against the container-conveyor or alternatively on a self-supported stand.

 

Documentationen
Automatically recording of all necessary Inspection data for complete production and product tracing.

 

Operation / product change
Pre-programmed products are selected from the Touch-panel. Change to a different container height is a semi-automatic process. Change to a different container diameter is a manual process through a hand-wheel with position indicator.
In case of very small containers it is possible to remove the upper container guide belt.

 

Security
An automatic stop function in case of very high / low rejection and fallen containers as well as electronic control of all inspection components are a standard supply of the X PLORER.

Camera / Mirror station
360° side-wall inspection via CCD-camera and high-
performance LED area-luminaries. 4 views per container for 360° all around recognition. The self-sufficient camera/mirror-station can be mounted either on the container In-/ Out-feed or shifted in 90° depending on the necessary requirements.
